This is a winter variety, released in 1992. It takes about 90-95 days to mature and is resistant to Cercospora leaf spot and tolerant to yellow mosaic virus disease. Almost all the pods mature at a time. Maximum seed yield potential is up to 1.1 tons/ha (av 0.9 tons/ha). Seed is golden in colour.

This is a late winter-cum-summer mungbean variety, released in 1994. It matures between 70-80 days. Most of the pods mature at a time. Seed is dull greenand larger than Kanti. The variety is tolerant to Cercospora leaf spot and yellow mosaic virus diseases. Maximum seed yield potential is 1.9 tons/ha (av.1.1 tons/ha).

3. Binamoog-3:
This is a winter mungbean variety, released in 1997. It matures between 80-85 days. Its seed size is bigger than Binamoog-1. Plants are tolerant to Cercospora leaf spot and yellow mosaic virus diseases. Pods are cylindrical without any ridges. Seed colour is dull green. Maximum seed yield potential is 1.2 tons/ha (av. 1.0 tons/ha).

A high yielding winter mungbean variety, released in 1997. It matures between 75-80 days. Seed size is bigger than Binamoog-1. All the pods mature at a time. Plants are short and tolerant to Cercospora leaf spot and yellow mosaic virus diseases. Pods have prominent ridges. Seed colour is dull green. Maximum seed yield potential is 1.2 tons/ha (av. 1.1 tons/ha).

A late winter-cum-summer mungbean variety, released in 1998. It matures between 70-80 days. Seed is green shiny and bigger than Binamoog-1. Almost all the pods mature at a time. Plants are short and tolerant to Cercospora leaf spot and yellow mosaic virus diseases. Maximum seed yield potential is 2.0 tons/ha (av. 1.5 tons/ha).

This is an early mature summer mungbean variety, released in 2005. It matures between 64-68 days. The variety is tolerant to yellow mosaic virus diseases.. Average yield is up to 1.5 tons/ha.

This is a high yielding summer mungbean variety, released in 2005. It matures between 70-74 days. The variety is tolerant to yellow mosaic virus diseases.. Average yield is up to 1.8 tons/ha.

8. Binamoog-8:
Binamoog-8 is a summer mungbean variety released in 2010. It is obtained from seeds of MB-149 which were irradiated with 400 Gy dose of gamma ray. Maturity period ranges from 64-67 days. Maximum grain yield is about 2.0 t/ha (av. 1.8 t/ha). Seed is medium size with green shiny color. Seed contains higher protein (23%). Plants are short and tolerant to yellow mosaic virus (YMV) disease. This variety is suitable for cultivation in pulse growing areas of Bangladesh.
